wider tracks. It was done to give the tank a smoother ride over poor surfaces.
This was the reason for the nickname "Easy Eights". The use of this version extended all the way into the Korean War.

Merkava Mk IV All New in 1/35 scale
It's the most advanced armored vehicle in the Israeli Defense Forces. This 65 ton battle tank entered service in 2004 as an improvement to the existing Mk III. Its 120mm gun can fire high
penetration rounds as well as guided projectiles. It has the Amcoram LWS-2 laser warning system to automatically deploy smoke grenades and decoys for protection.
