To add realism and another dimension of enjoyment to your railroad nothing compares to sound. Perhaps you want railroading sounds like horns, whistles, steam chuffs, engine bells and crossing gates. Or you want to add authenticity to a country or city with sounds like insects, auto traffic, jack hammers, thunder, car horns and others. MRC has a system to match your layout. Each features crisp, realistic, digital sound and simple hookup.
Symphony 77 sound system features two speakers you can place anywhere on your layout and simply plug into an AC power outlet. It also includes a high output amplifier. A handheld, pushbutton controller lets you easily select your sounds. There are numerous railroading sounds. Some feature a sound-on-sound capability. There is also two modes of operation, either Steam or Diesel... Just pick your era. Sounds include: engine rumble with adjustable prime mover
rate, multiple diesel horns, steam chuff with adjustable rate, multiple steam whistles, conductor, crossing gate, rail clack, and more. For critical sounds, you control the volume, or create the sounds of a locomotive moving closer, the fading away.
City & Country Sound Station delivers 18 city and country sounds. These are the sounds of real life. Select matching sounds as your train rolls past woodlands, farms and city scenery. Select from 6 sounds that can play continuously: insects, traffic, stream, rain, wind and forest. Then add any of the 12 that can be intermittently played on top of them, including sirens, car crash, dog, thunder, cows and seven others.
